Berneslai Homes, Barnsley

We undertook drilling and installation of ground loops at five sheltered care home schemes for replacement of
existing heating systems with
geothermal heat pumps. There was a total of 67 boreholes drilled to depths between 110m and 160m across the five sites. During the drilling operations the care homes remained occupied and all works were undertaken with minimal inconven- ience to the residents.

All drilling work was carried out on time and to budget, and our operations were praised by both the Main Contractor and Berneslai Homes for the efficiency and courtesy extended to the residents by our drilling crews.
