The scheme was required to replace the existing heating system of a 14 storey block of flats with geothermal heat pumps.

We undertook the drilling of 22 boreholes which needed to be cased to the top of rock at 60m before continuing to target depth of 150m where the ground loops were installed. Despite the difficult drilling we completed 2 boreholes per week and were able to complete the drilling works to the required programme.
